Embedix is a simple platform designed to help the way businesses and individuals create, deploy, and receive informations from their forms and control website alert notifications in a single place.
As a developer, I hated having to go into my code and deploy code just to put up a banner alert notification for my users. There were times where our software would have integration issues with third party services and systems were not functioning properly. I had to always go into the code, uncomment a piece of my code that was there strictly for these situations, deploy the code and when the issue was resolved, I would have to go back and undo the alert to remove it from the site. This was time consuming and annoying.
For some time, I always thought perhaps it would be easier to write a small piece of code that would check the database every time to see if there was any notification to show. This would allow anyone from the company to go in and write a notification to our users on the website without the need for a developer. The issue I saw with this, is having to make an API call to our system on every page load.
This is where I came up with the idea of creating a software that allows users to embed a piece of Javascript code and be able to control when and how they want these alert notifications to show up on their site. This idea of such tool remained in my mind but I never had the time to develop it. A few years ago I also had an idea of creating an online form builder, where users can create forms and share with others to fill out.
I decided to repurchase this domain and build out the product. I am not proud to say that the real version of embedix.io is live and working. With Embedix you can create contact forms, survey forms or any other form you wish. Simply select the question types and questions to ask and we can either host the form on our end for you or you can embed the form via JavaScript tag or iframe directly onto your webpage as you wish. Along with that you can insert a piece of script tag that will allow you to show a banner alert onto your website of important information to share with your customers.
